Celebrity Watch: Nil, Zip, Nada, a big fat 0

So I'm kind of disappointed that I've been in New York for a month now and have yet to see a celebrity about. I figured I was at least a lock for an Olsen twin sighting, but so far, no dice.

It's particularly annoying because I've read plenty of Gawker Stalker sightings from the Village - someone even saw Harrison Ford on my street. I've even been at some of the places that the sightings occured at the exact time that they occured (Katie Holmes in Union Square one Sunday, for instance).

My mom says maybe it's just because I'm not paying enough attention when I walk places and that I'm in my own little world. She's probably right.

The best I can report is a second-hand sighting by one of the girls in my class who lives in Brooklyn. She saw the Beastie Boys just chilling the other day - pretty awesome sighting actually.

Another girl in my department is hoping to catch a glimpse of Bono while he's in town. He apparently stops by McSorley's, and New York institution, when he's in town. There may be many an evening spent in McSorley's over the next few weeks - we'll see.

Anyway, I really want to write more about what's going on up here, but mostly it's been me working and going to class. I promise I'll write more and update more often to let everyone in the ATL know what's happening up here.
